Discoveries Await You In Theta … continued

Theta sessions are often referred to as learning sessions. However, they too are used by musicians when composing music, writers seeking new ideas and painters in need of inspiration. Meditation can be more profound. Soft rock and jazz will be enhanced. Listen while you are playing a video game (talk about being focused). Play theta sessions with your self-improvement CDs or MP3s. In any of these situations, your experience should be heightened.

Here are examples of when 4-7 Hz (theta) sessions can be beneficial:

-Experiencing headaches/pain.

-Composing music or painting.

-For problem solving.

-Had a very stressful day.

-Enhancing visualization skills.

-For deep meditation and relaxation.

-After working at your computer.

-After driving many hours.

-Your teenager knows everything.

-Feeling imbalanced.

-Seeking behavior modification.

-Activating personal goals.

-Experiencing forgetfulness.

-Irritability.

-Nervous.

-Facing major life change.

-Business readjustment.

-Increased responsibilities.

-Deep mind exploration.

-For personal healing.

These are actual ways that clients and friends have utilized theta frequencies. It is by no means a complete list, but should offer you ideas on how you can personally benefit from this brain state.

Mind States by Michael Landgraf

You should also utilize frequencies in both the alpha and theta brainwave states. These frequencies gently guide you back and forth, from one state to the next, in an effort to inspire your creativity. Again, these sessions are used by writers, musicians and painters. Students and teachers enhance their academic abilities. Meditative experiences become maximized. Visualization skills are enhanced. Reading for enjoyment is at it’s best. These sessions are used to create the ideal learning environment. When searching for new ideas, use this combination of alpha and theta frequencies.
