What Type Of System Do You Need?
Both the Procyon and Delight mind machines contain sessions in all four general brainwave states. The Procyon is ideal for mind exploration and audiostrobe entrainment and entertainment. The Delight seems the system of choice for dealing with high stress, memory issues and pain management. They both are capable of so much more, but when a potential customer wants to know the difference that’s the comparison I normally use. Keeps things simple.
Several years ago Mind Alive, then known as Comptronic, produced an all-in-one light and sound machine with everything connected to the lightframes/headphones. Known as the 2001 this compact system was all right. Very portable, great during commutes, between classes and study sessions. The sound and light qualities were one of the best. Even targeted all four general mind states. The only problem was the technology behind the components were not as advanced nor as durable as today’s technology. Nonetheless, I credit Dave Siever of Mind Alive for producing the first successfully mass marketed all-in-one system. As good as an idea that the 2001 was, it has been years since anyone has attempted to resurrect the all-in-one lightframe/headphone/control box for light and sound sessions.
A few months ago the MicroBeatMini (mBm) made it’s debut. The earstems of the mBm fold closed for compact portability and includes a soft wraparound lense cover for experiencing ganzfeld visual sensations via ganzfeld downloadable sessions. With earbuds for volume (headphones are also included) and sound-in port for connecting to your MP3 library (patch cord included), the microBeatmini is a well-balanced, complete audiostrobe compatible light and sound machine.
The mBm is such an effective and durably built light and sound system that it has caught the attention of very well known celebrities who intend to launch in the near future an awareness campaign espousing the relaxing and stress-inhibiting benefits of pulsed light and sound microBeatmini (mBm) neurotechnology.
All four of the light and sound mind machines mentioned retail for less than $300 and are built to last for years of use. There are other mind machines, but these five systems are what I believe to be the most beneficial and cost-effective mind machines available.
